Key Partners

The Asia Foundation is a subcontractor of USAID ERAT program along with the International County/City Managers Association (ICMA). USAID ERAT works together with the central government partners namely Cooperation Facilitation of the Ministry of Home Affairs as the Executing Agency (EA). Moreover, USAID ERAT also supports various ministries as the Implementing Agencies (IA) namely: the Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Finance, National Development Planning Agency (BAPPENAS), and Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (KEMENPAN-RB).

Not only work with national level ministries, USAID ERAT through its provincial coordinators also work with the provincial governments in all six provinces. Last but not least, as USAID ERAT is a program that focuses to improve local governance, through the District Faciltators (DFs), USAID ERAT works with the local government in all thirty cities/ districts.

USAID ERAT also works in civil society organizations and research institutions both at the national and local levels to address various multisectoral issues such as extreme poverty, stunting, and child marriage.

Private sector is also part of critical USAID ERAT partners. USAID ERAT supports the social entrepreneurs to enable their impact on the public service delivery improvement as well as to link them with the government and other important stakeholders. USAID ERAT also open to collaboration to partner with private companies that work in issues such as but not limited to vocational training and education, water and sanitation, waste management, smart city and digital transformation.
